De Groene Os - Intestinal Compound
The carefully selected mix of substances in this product ensures a normal intestinal passage. Its regulatory function makes it effective in the treatment of diarrhea (Plantago, Anserina and Tormentilla), but also in treating constipation (Anserina and Absinthum) and when mucous membrane repair is required (Plantago, Salvia).
Anti-inflammatory properties due to Plantago, Ceanothus and Salvia, anti-spasmodic effect due to Chamomilla, Anserina and Tormentilla.
Applications:
Can be used in cases of an intestinal waste passage which is either too fast or too slow.
Horses which are prone to colic benefit from using Intestinal Compound in combination with Pro- bioforte.

Usage
De Groene Os - Intestinal Compound
Dosage for horses and ponies:
Horses and ponies: 2 times a day 30 drops
In acute cases of colic, 20 drops every hour in some water and given using a syringe in the mouth.
Dosage for dogs and cats:
Dogs > 25 kilo: 2 times a day 20 drops
Dogs 10 to 25 kilo: 2 times a day 10 drops
Dogs and cats < 10 kilo: 2 times a day 4 drops
It is better that the drops are given outside feeding times. This can be done simply by putting drops of the compound on to a piece of bread and administering it in this way.
Long term use is possible (for longer than three months), but a ‘break week’ should then be included every three weeks.
