Product info
De Groene Os - Glucosamine Complex
Ingredients:
Glucosamine sulphate, calcium citrate, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), magnesium citrate, chondroitine sulphate (90%), methyl sulphonyl methane (MSM).
Properties:
The most important property of ‘Glucosamine Complex’ is that the product is able to produce proteoglycanes.
Proteoglycanes form, together with water, the most important components of the synovial fluids. Pain caused by a shortage of synovial fluid will decrease sharply as a result of this. Movement will become easier and due to this increased movement, metabolism in the joints will pick up.
Glycosaminoglycanes make up the basic structure of cartilage; glycosaminoglycanes are partly formed by glucosamine and chondroitine.
Chondroitine also increases the hyaluron acid level. This acid works as a lubricator in the joints.
MSM is the supplier of the most important sulphur compounds. Sulphur compounds are necessary for the production of collagen and keratin and the construction and reconstruction of cartilage.
Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is vital for the production of connective tissue and cartilage and halts the breakdown of glycosaminoglycanes.
Calcium citrate and magnesium citrate are easily digested and therefore easy to use to aid the composition of bones and joints. Connective tissue also uses calcium citrate and magnesium citrate in its production. Magnesium is also a good muscle relaxant which provides relief from rheumatic pain.
Applications:
Arthrosis, arthritis, weakened connective tissue (ligaments, capsule, muscles, skin, airways, intestines, blood vessels), weak hooves in the case of horses. Glucosamine Complex can also help effectively in cases of dryness of the eyes and asthmatic complaints.
