EQUISTRO CARTIFLEX
Green lipped mussels are naturally rich in glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and MSM, key constituents for joint
cartilage health. Brown seaweed, like green lipped mussels draw from the sea an incomparable wealth of not only
mineral, vitamin and trace elements which can account for up to 36% of dry matter, notably present are calcium
and magnesium, both vital components for the joint structure but also algal phytonutrients (phlorotannins),
which provide a wide range of potential biological activity. Lipids represent 1-5 % of algal dry matter and show an
interesting polyunsaturated fatty acid composition particularly with regarding to omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids
which contribute to joint health. Selenium and vitamin E contribute to the formidable antioxidant network of the
horse’s organism.
CARTIFLEX is recommended for athletic horses for which an optimal joint
function and comfort is desired, particularly during working programmes (training, racing and competing season),
when the joints structures (cartilage, tendons and ligaments) are heavily solicited.
Usage
TOEDIENING/DOSERING:
Standard sized horses (500 kg): 1 to 2 scoops per day
