Description
DMG is N, N-Dimethylglycine.
DMG is produced within the cells of the body from choline and betaine.
DMG plays a crucial role in the respiratory cycle of the cells, transporting oxygen for the breakdown of glycogen in ATP, the energy source of the cell.
In the 1970s, DMG is identified as the key ingredient of athletes in Soviet Union. Since then, research at several American universities has demonstrated DMG’s usefulness in a variety of species, including the horse.
Indication
DMG is used to fuel the ATP cycle, it influences the lactic acid production.

DMG is a water soluble nutrient and is very readily absorbed.
DMG is constantly broken down as it is used in the mitochondria.
Since the metabolism occurs quickly, it is recommended that DMG be feed twice daily.

Pony: maintenance: 5 g twice daily, performance 10 g
