One of our best-selling saddle pads is the Cal Rei Topacio saddle pad. This saddle pad consists of 2 layers made of a 3D spacer fiber. This innovative material ensures perfect pressure distribution and shock absorption, making the saddle pad feel super comfortable for your horse. The pads are 100% breathable and moisture-wicking, making them hygienic and easy to maintain. 

Recently, the Cal Rei saddle pads have received a new inner lining, made of the same 3D spacer material as the top layer but much more compact. This ensures that your horse's hairs do not penetrate the pad. This new lining is just as breathable and moisture-wicking as the "old" lining.

The saddle pads are finished with a synthetic leather trim, giving the pad a chic look. All saddle pads are handmade in Barcelona and are therefore perfectly finished down to the smallest detail.

Perfect pressure distribution and shock absorption:

The 3D spacer material consists of millions of polyester fibers and is extremely durable, resilient, and lightweight. The polyester fibers are formed in two layers in horizontal and vertical directions, creating a unique open and elastic structure in the material that offers optimal cushioning. The special 3D spacer material has perfect adaptability, ensuring that the saddle pads stay in place in any position or movement of the horse. Every pressure is absorbed and perfectly distributed, guaranteeing comfort and freedom of movement. 

Maximum ventilation:

Because the polyester fibers of the 3D material are interwoven in two layers with space between them, a thermo-regulating effect occurs between the layers. In addition to constant, maximum ventilation, this also ensures optimal heat regulation on the horse's back during riding.

Optimal hygiene:

The CalRei saddle pads offer excellent air and moisture regulation. There is no accumulation of moisture or sweat, preventing sweat bumps on the horse's back and thus avoiding unpleasant odors from sweat and/or dust residues. The 3D spacer material prevents sweat and dust residues from sticking to the inside of the fabric, and all CalRei products are manufactured with a special antibacterial layer for extra hygiene.

Easy to maintain:

CalRei saddle pads are effortlessly cleaned by simply hosing down the surface with water. Thanks to the open structure, drying the fabric is easy and quick, allowing you to use the pad again and again. If you do wish to wash the CalRei products, you can simply do so in the washing machine at 30ºC, and they can be tumble dried.
