Rain Sheets for Horses

Looking for a rain sheet for your horse? We are the online specialist in rain sheets. We have a wide selection of rain sheets in stock and on sale. A rain sheet is a waterproof horse sheet that protects your horse from rain and cold. A rain sheet has no (or very light) filling and is therefore suitable for use during seasonal changes. Would you like a sheet with filling? Then take a look at our winter sheets.

At DocHorse.nl you will find a wide range of waterproof rain sheets for your horse. Order rain sheets from DocHorse.nl in all possible options from the brands Horseware, Amigo, Rambo, Rhino, Kentucky

We have rain sheets with a fixed neck and detachable neck, but also waterproof rain sheets with a liner system. We also have sheets for broader horses in a big neck and XL version.

Why a rain sheet is essential

Rain sheets are indispensable during wet or variable periods. The waterproof outer fabric repels rain and wind, while the breathable structure prevents your horse from getting too warm. Especially sheets without filling – so-called 0 gram rain sheets – offer optimal protection without insulation, making them ideal for milder temperatures. Additionally, we also have 100 gram rain sheets for the slightly cooler days.

Big or small—the right fit counts

We also have solutions for broad or baroque horses. Our 0 gram XL rain sheets are specially designed with spacious cuts and strong 600D Ripstop material, ensuring they stay in place without chafing

What to consider when buying a waterproof rain sheet?

This depends entirely on your own preferences. If your horse goes out with other horses, we recommend ordering a strong horse sheet of at least 1000D, which reduces the chance of tears due to playing, for example. Furthermore, the fit is very important; your horse should be able to move freely. We have rain sheets for horses with a broad neck, such as the Rambo rain sheets and the Bucas Big Neck horse sheets.

Opt for liners

Turn your waterproof rain sheet into a winter sheet in no time by attaching under-sheets to the rain sheets using special attachment points. You can use Horseware liners and Bucas Select under-sheets for this.
