Various girths in our assortment
Looking for a girth? We have a wide selection of girths from Lemieux, Stubben, Kentucky and Busse. A well-fitting girth is just as important as a well-fitting saddle; if a girth chafes or doesn't fit properly, it hinders your horse's movement. We have both anatomically shaped jumping and dressage girths in stock with a perfect fit. These girths are available in both neoprene and leather and may or may not have elastic on both sides. If you are looking for a girth with elastic, make sure the girth has elastic on both sides, otherwise your saddle will shift.
Girths with sheepskin
If your horse has sensitive skin, we recommend choosing a girth with a (removable) sheepskin lining. Sheepskin is not only very soft for the skin but also provides extra pressure distribution. Another advantage of a removable sheepskin lining is that you can easily wash it, ensuring you always have a clean girth.
Popular Dressage Girths
An anatomical dressage girth is currently very popular. The anatomical shape of the girth gives your horse more freedom of movement, resulting in a more expansive gait. We also have dressage girths with sheepskin in stock; a dressage girth with sheepskin is extra soft for the skin and also distributes pressure. A real bestseller is the Stubben Equi-Soft girth; this leather dressage girth has an anatomical shape and follows your horse's movement. This anatomical girth is also suitable for horses with girthiness. It is also possible to try out this girth for 7 days via our Test Center.
Popular Jumping Girths
We have jumping girths both with and without a belly flap. A belly flap protects your horse's belly during a jump, as your horse's horseshoes can then hit the belly. A real bestseller is the Kentucky jumping girth with sheepskin and a belly flap. This anatomical jumping girth has everything you are looking for in a girth.
If you use an auxiliary rein, make sure you choose a girth that has attachment rings for auxiliary reins both on the underside and on the sides.
