The Cal Rei half pads have been designed taking into account several important factors to provide comfort and wellbeing to the horse. They consist of two interconnected 3D Fabric layers. Inside these layers Cal Rei has engineered pockets that can be refilled with extra pieces of 3D Fabric in order to achieve the proper adjustment with the saddle and the horse back.

This innovation has been created to enable the correct fit of the saddle to the horse back during transitional growth or work stages and to compensate the imbalances provoked by morphologic changes throughout the life of the horse. Following with the same properties of breathability, high resistance, flexibility, hygiene and pressure distribution, the hals pads have all the features of the saddle cloths and numnahs. This set becomes an essential piece for the horse´s comfort during muscular development periods, or if the horse has a very sensitive back ​

Perfect Pressure Distribution and Shock Absorption Cal Rei Saddle Pad

The 3D Spacer material is made from millions of polyester fibers, making it extremely durable, resilient, and lightweight. The fibers are arranged in two layers, both horizontally and vertically, creating a unique open and elastic structure that provides optimal cushioning. This makes it ideal for perfect, even pressure distribution and shock absorption on the horse's back.

The special 3D Spacer material adapts perfectly to the horse’s shape, ensuring that Cal Rei products stay securely in place no matter the horse’s position or movement. Every pressure applied to a Cal Rei product made from 3D Spacer material is absorbed and evenly distributed, guaranteeing comfort and freedom of movement. Thanks to an exclusive composition that acts like a spring, Cal Rei saddle pads provide both pressure relief and shock absorption. The inner layer of Cal Rei products is soft and gentle, even for the most sensitive horses, while the outer layer is firmer. Both layers are designed to provide perfect stability for the rider.

Maximum Ventilation

The polyester fibers in the 3D Spacer material are woven in two layers with space between them, creating a thermo-regulating effect. This not only provides constant, maximum ventilation but also optimizes temperature regulation on the horse’s back during riding. All Cal Rei products are made entirely from 3D Spacer material, essential for the horse’s wellbeing. Unlike traditional equestrian products, no foam, batting, polyester, or cotton is used in any Cal Rei product.

Optimal Ventilation and Hygiene

Cal Rei products offer excellent air and moisture regulation. There is no accumulation of sweat or moisture, preventing pressure sores and unpleasant odors caused by sweat or dust residues. The 3D Spacer structure prevents sweat and dust from sticking to the fabric, and all Cal Rei products feature a special antibacterial layer for added hygiene.

Cal Rei saddle pads are easy to clean by simply rinsing the surface with water. Thanks to the open structure, the material dries quickly and easily, allowing repeated use.

If washing is preferred, Cal Rei products can be machine washed at 30ºC and dried in a tumble dryer.

All Cal Rei products are 100 percent recyclable.
