The Cal Rei jumping pads are made from special 3D spacer material. This ensures optimal pressure distribution, shock absorption, and good ventilation. In addition, the Cal Rei pads have an antibacterial layer making them hygienic to use and they have great breathability. 

Recently, the Cal Rei saddle pads have received a new inner lining which is made from the same 3D spacer material as the top layer but is much more compact. This ensures that your horse's hairs do not penetrate the pad. This new lining is just as breathable and moisture-permeable as the "old" lining.

Pressure distribution and shock absorption Cal Rei saddle pad:

The 3D spacer material consists of polyester fibers woven in horizontal and vertical directions. This makes the material durable, resilient, and lightweight. Due to the two directions in which the fibers are woven, an open structure is created that is very resilient. As a result, it offers good pressure distribution and shock absorption. An advantage for both rider and horse!

The material conforms to the horse's back, but springs back to its original state when no pressure is applied. Therefore, the pad will not get a saddle mark, and the horse's movements are well supported. The inner layer of the pad that lies against the horse is made of soft fibers, making it comfortable for the horse. The outer layer is somewhat stiffer, which helps the pad maintain its shape and supports the rider.

Ventilation Cal Rei Saddle Pad:

The fibers of the pad are woven from two layers, creating a small space between these two layers. This results in a thermo-regulating effect. This also ensures good ventilation. As a result, the horse will sweat less quickly and less intensely under this pad. All Cal Rei products are made from the 3D spacer material, so the products last a long time and offer good ventilation.

Hygiene:

The Cal Rei products feature good air and moisture regulation. Because the material is moisture and air permeable, there is no accumulation of sweat or moisture under the pad, which significantly reduces the chance of sweat bumps. Furthermore, the material prevents sweat and dust residues from sticking to the inside of the fabric. This prevents the pad from developing an unpleasant odor. Moreover, all Cal Rei products are manufactured with a special antibacterial layer for extra hygiene.

Cleaning:

The Cal Rei products are easy to clean by rinsing them under the garden hose. Thanks to the open structure of the material used, it dries quickly and can be used again and again. The material is machine washable at 30⁰C.
