This loose ring snaffle is made of stainless steel with a Waterford mouthpiece (chain of linked “balls”, without a hinge point). The very flexible mouthpiece gives a soft, compliant feel and prevents horses from leaning on the bit. Incorrect hand use by the rider can, however, make the action sharp.
