These new Shoc Air boots combine the best protection, the most beautiful design, and the latest developments in material and fabric technology. The ventilated EVA technology provides flexible strength and airflow to the exterior. The boot features an impact-resistant, smart layer called Shock Impact Responsive between the tendon and the outer part of the boot. This layer is composed of impact-resistant, shock-absorbing material with molecules that remain flexible when no pressure is applied. The moment pressure is applied to the boot, the molecules form a hard, protective, shock-absorbing barrier. The molecules only return to their flexible state when the pressure is removed.

Previously, boots with this technology were very rigid, but this has now been replaced by vertical strips of the Shock Impact Responsive material that remain flexible until pressure is applied to the boot.

The boot features air vents on the outside and has a 3D mesh inner lining, which together optimize the boot's breathability. Furthermore, the boot is complemented with a soft elastic cotton inner lining to ensure extra wearing comfort and prevent friction.

The boots are suitable for machine washing at a low temperature (preferably 30 degrees). A washing tablet/capsule may be used when washing. Ensure that the Velcro fastenings are closed and that you ensure the boot is clamped shut before washing. The boots can be air-dried near a heat source, never in a tumble dryer.

Please note that it is essential to fit the boots correctly around your horse's leg to get the optimal performance from the boots. For a secure fit, the boots must be tightened firmly.

When using the boots for the first time, they may be a bit flattened by the packaging. It is useful to shape the boots a little before putting them on your horse. This makes them more pliable and easier to fit around your horse's leg.

Once the boots are secured around your horse's leg, it is important to tighten the middle fastening extra firmly once again. The middle fastening contains elastic, and if it is not tightened a second time, there will be play in the boot where the leg is narrower, which could cause the boot to twist.

Due to the structure of the boot and the Shock Impact Responsive material, it is quite difficult to overtighten the boots, so make sure you fasten them firmly with the Velcro.
