The Rhino Wug winter rug with 450 grams filling is equipped with the innovative Vari-Layer system, which ensures less weight and more warmth for your horse. Various studies have shown that horses lose a lot of heat around the wither and neck. Thanks to the half neck of the WUG model, this warmth is retained. Furthermore, the extra coverage at the wither ensures that rain penetrates the rug less quickly, keeping your horse well protected against rain, wind, and cold!

What makes Rhino rugs unique is their multi-layered construction. The outer fabric is made from strong polypropylene material, which is many times stronger than the commonly used polyester. The second layer is a waterproof fabric, which is always protected by the polypropylene exterior. Even if the exterior is damaged, your rug remains waterproof. The third layer contains a thermobonded filling, and the fourth layer is an anti-static and anti-bacterial lining.
