A waterproof rain sheet ensures your horse stays dry on a rainy day, but can also be very functional when the weather gets a bit colder to counteract a thick winter coat. Amigo has various rain sheets in its range for these rainy days. We will highlight a number of fine Amigo rain sheets for you. Amigo has three collections of rain sheets: the Amigo Mio, the Bravo, and the Hero.

The Amigo Mio

This Amigo rain sheet is the classic model of all Amigo rain sheets and is unlined. Despite being a rain sheet, and therefore waterproof, the sheet is breathable, so horses won't sweat easily under it.

The Amigo Bravo

A slightly more luxurious sheet among the Amigo rain sheets is the Amigo Bravo rain sheet. This rain sheet, which is unlined, is designed so that liners can also be attached to it. This way, you can easily make the sheet warmer, so it can also be used effectively during colder days. You can also see that the sheet is a bit more luxurious due to the Leg Arches on the front legs, which give this Amigo rain sheet a better fit. We also have the Amigo rain sheet with different linings. The rain sheets are made of a 1200D outer fabric.

The Amigo Ripstop

This Amigo rain sheet has been completely renewed and has a different front closure than is customary for Amigo. This sheet does not have attachment points for liners. The sheet is available with a nylon or fleece lining.

Therefore, the Amigo Bravo is better suited for horses that spend a lot of time outdoors or are very active.

  • Can I add a liner to an Amigo rain sheet?

    Only the Amigo Bravo rain sheet is compatible with the Horseware Liner System. This allows you to easily add extra linings for more warmth in winter, so you can use the same rain sheet all year round.

  • How do I choose the right size Amigo rain sheet?

    Measure from the center of the chest, along the shoulder, to the end of the hindquarters. This gives the back length of your horse. Choose a size that fits well without being too tight or slipping.
