Which Bucas winter rugs are available?

1. Bucas Power Turnout Extra

A luxurious winter rug with 300g filling, a silver sun-reflective outer shell, and an antibacterial Stay-Dry lining. This rug is suitable for temperatures between -25 °C and +13 °C. A separate neck cover can easily be attached.

2. Bucas Smartex Medium and Extra

The Smartex is one of the most popular Bucas winter rugs. With a super-strong ballistic nylon outer shell and Stay-Dry lining, this rug can even be placed on a sweaty horse.

  • Smartex Medium: 150g filling.
  • Smartex Extra: 300g filling.

Additionally, the Smartex Extra Big Neck is available, specifically for broad-chested horses. A separate neck cover can also be attached to this rug.

3. Bucas Atlantic

The Atlantic is a relatively new model. This rug also features a ballistic nylon outer shell but is equipped with a Dermo-Care lining. This wicks away up to 80% of moisture (Stay-Dry 100%) and feels very soft against the skin – ideal for clipped horses.

  • Atlantic Medium: 200g filling.
  • Atlantic Extra: 400g filling.

Both versions can be extended with a separate neck cover.

4. Bucas Irish Turnout

The Irish Turnout is Bucas' entry-level series. This winter rug has a 1200D rip-stop outer fabric (less strong than ballistic nylon) and a nylon lining.

  • Irish Turnout Medium: 150g filling.
  • Irish Turnout Extra: 300g filling.

A separate neck cover can also be attached to this rug.
