Feeding advice per day

No work: 50 grams per 100 kg body weight. A horse of 500 kg should be fed 250 grams per day.

Light work: 60 grams per 100 kg body weight. A horse weighing 500 kg should be fed 300 grams per day.

Moderate work: 70 grams per 100 kg body weight. A 500 kg horse should be fed 350 grams per day.

Heavy work: 80 grams per 100 kg body weight. A 500 kg horse should be fed 400 grams per day.

Very hard work: 90 grams per 100 kg body weight. A 500 kg horse should be fed 450 grams per day.
