What types of Bucas fly rugs are there?

Bucas fly rugs without a neck

The Bucas Buzz Off Classic is a basic fly rug without a neck. This fly rug has a beautiful fit and extra soft padding at the chest. The fly rug is UV-resistant and has a detachable belly flap so that your horse's belly is also protected. This fly rug is only available in silver-blue.

Bucas fly rugs with a fixed neck

Bucas fly rugs with a fixed neck are available in multiple versions. The Bucas fly rugs made of full mesh are available in silver-blue or with a Zebra motif (extra fly-repellent). In addition to full mesh rugs, Bucas also has 2 fly rugs with a waterproof top; these are available in silver-blue or with a Zebra motif. These are the Bucas Buzz Off Rain rugs. The advantage of a fixed neck is that your horse is better protected against flies and horseflies.

Bucas fly rugs with a detachable neck

New in the collection are 2 Bucas fly rugs with a detachable neck. This allows you to decide whether you want to use the fly rug with or without a neck. The Bucas Buzz Off with neck is the same as the model with a fixed neck (only the neck can be removed). A completely new model is the Bucas Buzz Off X; this model has extra-long flaps for the legs and tail for even more protection. This new Bucas fly rug has everything you are looking for in a fly rug (maximum body coverage and UV-resistant).

Bucas fly rugs for riding

Your horse is not only bothered by flies in the pasture but also during riding, of course. Bucas has special fly rugs that can be used while riding. These Buzz Off Riding rugs have cut-outs in certain places so that your horse is not hindered in its movement. These fly riding rugs have a detachable neck and are available in silver with blue or in Zebra motif.

Unique Bucas Zebra technology

Some Bucas fly rugs feature a unique Zebra print. This print has a disorienting effect on flies, keeping them far away from your horse. Scientific research has been conducted on its effectiveness; Bucas rugs are the only ones with the correct amount of black and white to truly have a disorienting effect.
